The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Rajasthan Sewa Sadan Hospital, Jugsalai, was successfully held on Sunday, 3 August 2025, where pivotal decisions regarding the institution’s future administration and medical services were taken.
Unanimous Leadership Extension and Administrative Reforms
In the most significant resolution of the day, the members present at the AGM unanimously decided to extend the tenure of the current Working Committee for the next three years. This extension affirms confidence in the leadership team headed by President Dilip Goyal.
A new proposal was also passed to ensure administrative commitment: the board agreed that if any office bearer is continuously absent for three meetings, the President will have the authority to appoint a new office bearer in their place.
Vision for a Digital and Technologically Advanced Future
The proceedings commenced at 11:30 AM, following the completion of the quorum, with a welcoming address by General Secretary CA Jagdish Khandelwal.
Addressing the assembly, President Dilip Goyal highlighted the ongoing focus on development:
- Digital Transformation: Efforts are underway to implement a digital system to ensure that all patient data remains secure and organized.
- Ayushman Bharat Yojana: The process of re-linking the Sewa Sadan with the Ayushman Bharat Yojana is being accelerated to ensure that impoverished patients can benefit from the facilities.
New Medical Services on the Horizon
President Goyal announced key upcoming expansions aimed at significantly enhancing the hospital's capabilities.
- The hospital plans to soon launch services such as endoscopy.
- New specialised services, including knee replacement and high-level physiotherapy, are scheduled to begin shortly.
Review of Achievements and Financial Health
General Secretary CA Jagdish Khandelwal presented the Annual Report, detailing the significant progress made over the past year.
- The hospital has been equipped with modern medical devices, including a modern X-ray machine and a new dialysis unit.
- Infrastructure improvements have been made to the basic structure of the hospital, including the building, waiting rooms, and medical consultation rooms, to provide better patient facilities.
- The hospital currently employs 15 specialist doctors, with plans to hire more experienced physicians in the future.
Treasurer CA Manish Kedia presented the financial statement for the year 2024-25, which was unanimously accepted by the general assembly. Kedia also confirmed that the hospital's medical store continues to provide a 15% discount on medicines for patients.
Joint Secretaries Deepak Agarwal Ramuka and Ashish Mittal also provided updates on social and cultural programs organised by the institution.
The AGM concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vice President Mantu Agarwal.
